Breathing Heart (installation video link)
Breathing Heart is an installation made by an express bag and box. This express bag can inhale and exhale like the deep breaths of a human. It is controlled simply by an Arduino in the box. The express bag is used and has my address, I sew it into a heart shape. The inspiration for this work comes from my daily subway commute. Looking at the silent people on the subway, I feel that living in a super big city is stressful and we need to take a break. I hope to make a work from the most everyday objects, making it take deep breaths. Express delivery is the most common link between people in daily life. I hope the audience interacting with it feels intimate and decompression.

The Person Standing in The Corner
站在角落的陌生人
I hung this clothes hanger that I got from the dry cleaner on the wall. There was also a bunch of messy copper wires hanging on the wall. One day I saw that the copper wires looked like a smiling face, and then the clothes hanger looked like a shoulder. So I bent the clothes hanger into a collar with ruffled edges and combined it with the copper wires. It looked like a person, standing quietly by the wall and smiling at me. I like the transformation of daily things. They always made me feel intimate.
Eyes on Me
请别忽视我
These plastic films are waste materials that I abandoned in a corner after working on another work experiment. I stacked them up layer by layer. Looking back, these stacked waste materials give me a refreshing feeling. The words on them seem to be telling something. I gave it a pair of eyes, and it seemed to come alive, creating new communication with people.
